I’m hosting 2 dogs and I took the dogs out for potty and on our way back into the house, I got tackled face front into the ground by the big dog we’re hosting and I broke my glasses, badly grazed my knee and my nose and mouth and bleeding from it. I still held onto the leash but Percy stood up for some reason during this and wiggled out of her vest. I’ve still got the vest and leash tied together, I don’t know how she managed to be smart enough to get it off. Of course I tried coaxing her back to me and slowly moving to her, but she was running off and with my glasses broken I couldn’t see anything. By the time I went around the corner to look for her, she was gone. A lady on the street told me she was walking further down, so I kept following but to no avail. I called the dog warden immediately, then the police, looked around the area for 2 hours on foot and my partner was there too but no sight.
