Saturday 23rd August around 5.00pm, I found a stray dog on Stenhouse Drive Edinburgh. She appears to be a young female, beige in colour with short hair, possibly a Staffie cross. She was not wearing a collar or tag. She is very gentle and quiet, no signs of aggressive behaviour. I contacted several organisations, including the Edinburgh Dog Warden (0131 608 1100), Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, Dogs Trust, and other local numbers I found online, but unfortunately they were all closed at the time. I also called the Police on 101 and reported the situation. After waiting for a couple of hours with no updates, I took the dog home with me for her safety. I plan to take her to Vets for Pets Corstorphine (the closest in the area) tomorrow morning to check for a microchip and get further advice.
